Sarah Reynolds is a singer, voice teacher, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Equally at home in concert and opera, she has performed with LA Opera, LA Master Chorale, De Angelis Vocal Ensemble, and Long Beach Opera. She is also an artist and co-producer for L.A. Camerata. She made her debut with LA Opera’s Education and Community Outreach Department singing the role of Orfeo in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice in recital at The Getty Villa and joined the LA Opera Chorus in Verdi’s Don Carlo. Sarah is an Auxiliary Roster member of the LA Master Chorale, recently singing in the chorus of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 in collaboration with the LA Phil. This performance was recorded by Deutsche Grammophon and won the Grammy for Best Choral Performance in 2022. An art song enthusiast, Sarah was a featured recitalist in Pasadena Conservatory of Music’s Mansions & Music concert series and has performed with the Denver Art Song Project as well as LA’s UnSUNg concert series. A frequent concert soloist, Sarah’s credit highlights include the Bach Magnificat and Vivaldi Gloria with Redlands Symphony, Jenkins Stabat Mater with Musica Sacra of Sarasota, FL, and Brahms Alto Rhapsody with Artes Vocales. Her favorite roles include Dido in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Orfeo in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice with Opera Animata and Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina with the Napa Music Festival. Ms. Reynolds received her Bachelors in Vocal Performance from The College of New Jersey and Masters in Vocal Performance from The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA and has studied and performed at Napa Music Festival’s Baroque Opera Program and the Early Music Vancouver and Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival Baroque Vocal Programs.

Sarah currently teaches private voice lessons to students of all ages out of her home studio in Eagle Rock and is a Vocal Coach for the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus. Sarah has been interviewed by Shoutout LA and Voyage LA and featured as a Backstage Magazine Reader’s Choice Nominee for LA Vocal/Singing Coach and as one of their “8 Vocal Coaches to Know in NYC and LA.”

A life-long advocate for music and performing arts education, Sarah was a Music Together teacher from 2010-2013 and served on the teaching staff of Dragonfly DuLou, where she also offered youth improv classes. During the same period she was an Artist-in-Residence at the Hollywood Children’s Garden Preschool, where she shared her own dynamic curriculum in weekly music classes. Before moving to LA, Sarah taught music and performing arts for several years within the Boston Public school system.

Sarah is a former cast member of the ImprovBoston theater (awarded “Best of” comedy clubs in the Boston Phoenix and the Improper Bostonian several years running) and has performed regionally at many comedy festivals, including the Del Close Marathon in NYC and Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival. She co-created a fully improvised and interactive ImprovBoston Family Show (Nickelodeon Parents’ Pick Award 2009), and performed with IB’s Mainstage, Harold Teams, and in featured shows such as Tiny Little Lungs, a two-woman improvised musical/opera, and The Wasteland Comedy Hour with T.S. Eliot, a multi-media sketch show for which she contributed as a writer, performer, and music director. Sarah has taught improv to adults and children both through ImprovBoston’s workshops, and in association with Young Audiences, a national program that brings professional performance arts educators into public schools.

Sarah released her debut pop rock EP Adolescent in April of 2024.
